I am a Professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University (ZJU) in China, where I lead the Intelligent Storage and Computing Systems (ISCS) Laboratory. I am also the Vice President of the Zhejiang Lab and the Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data Intelligent Computing. My current research focuses on storage systems, intelligent computing, computer architecture, and high-performance computing.

I have been awarded over 20 grants from the National Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, the Major Projects of Zhejiang Province, the Program of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology, Alibaba, Huawei, etc. I have published more than 90 papers in esteemed international conferences and journals, such as ASPLOS, MICRO, HPCA, EuroSys, SC, ATC, TOCS, TC, TPDS and TOS. I am the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC, 2023-), the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS, 2018-2022), and the Editor of CCF Transactions on High Performance Computing (THPC, 2024-). I also serve as the program chair of NAS2024, general chair of ChinaSys2024, the PC member of ICDCS, SRDS, ICPP, IPDPS, CLUSTER, etc. The open-source code for some of our projects is released in ISCS-ZJU-code.

I have received numerous awards, including the Best Poster Award in the 26th ChinaSys workshop in 2024, the Second Class Prize of ASC in 2024, the Best Paper Presentation Award in NCIS in 2023, the 2020 IEEE TPDS Award for Editorial Excellence, the Third Prize of the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Information Achievement Award in 2021, and the Best Paper Award of the SPEED’2008 workshop.

Jul 10, 2024 Weixu Zong and I attended the OSDI’24 and ATC’24 conferences held in Santa Clara, California, USA. Weixu Zong gave a presentation at ATC’24, introducing our work on graph storage.
Jul 5, 2024 Our work on graph storage is accepted by CLUSTER 2024.
Jun 18, 2024 I join the executive committee of the ChinaSys workshop.
Jun 16, 2024 We win the best poster award in the 26th ChinaSys workshop in Hangzhou.
