I am a Tenured Professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University (ZJU) in China, leading the Intelligent Storage and Computing Systems (ISCS) Laboratory. I am also the Vice President of the Zhejiang Lab and the Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Big Data Intelligent Computing. My research lies in storage systems, intelligent computing, computer architecture, and high-performance computing.
I have been awarded 20+ grants from the National Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, the Major Projects of Zhejiang Province, the Program of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology, Alibaba, Huawei, Ant Group, etc. I have published 100+ papers in venues such as FAST, ASPLOS, MICRO, HPCA, EuroSys, ATC, SC, VLDB, TOCS, TC, TPDS and TOS. I am the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Computers (TC, 2023-), the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS, 2018-2022), and the Editor of CCF Transactions on High Performance Computing (THPC, 2024-). I also serve as the program chair of NAS2024, the general chair of ChinaSys2024, the PC member of ICDCS, SRDS, ICPP, IPDPS, CLUSTER, etc. The open-source code for some of our projects is released in ISCS-ZJU-code.
I have received numerous awards, including the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress in Zhejiang Province in 2023, the First Prize of Invention and Entrepreneurship Achievements of China Invention Association in 2025, the Second Prize of the 2nd National College Students’ Information Storage Technology Competition in 2024, the Best Poster Award in the 26th ChinaSys workshop in 2024, the Second Class Prize of ASC in 2024, the Best Paper Presentation Award in NCIS in 2023, the 2020 IEEE TPDS Award for Editorial Excellence, the Third Prize of the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Information Achievement Award in 2021, and the Best Paper Award of the SPEED’2008 workshop.
